“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Bin Laden surprised to find himself in hell

"We will not tire. We will not falter. We will not fail." Those were the words uttered by George Bush atop the rubble pile that used to be the Twin Towers, referring to hunting down the people responsible for 9/11. It is a testament to our form of government that two administrations, polar opposites politically, can pursue the same goal over the course of ten years and accomplish it.

And like it or not, that Obama pulled the trigger on this operation and that it turned out so spectacularly successful, is a huge feather in his cap and he deserves credit. I realize that it was the CIA and SEALs that executed it, but if anything had gone wrong or we had failed, it would have been Obama that got the blame, same as Jimmy Carter got the blame for the failed hostage rescue attempt in Iran. He signed off on it, so he gets to take the credit.

This also sends a message to our enemies. If you harm our civilians, we will hunt you down. Maybe not tomorrow or next week, but we will find and kill you.

So I tip my hat to Obama for green-lighting this operation and killing the man responsible for 9/11.

"...that Obama pulled the trigger on this operation and that it turned out so spectacularly successful...."

My God, are you really that gullible, Ed?

I thought the same thing, Ed. As much as I will eagerly vote him out next year, Obama knew a debacle like Desert One would forever seal his name as Jimmy Carter Two.

Imagine bin Laden's surprise to see the "72 virgins" were demons with pitchforks.

How am I gullible? Please tell me Glen. I suppose you see a conspiracy among the industrial-military complex, the tri-lateral commission, and the Zionists or something, no?

Look, all politics aside, it took guts that I didn't think Obama had to OK a mission to kill a Muslim enemy in a hostile country that we didn't have permission to operate in. (Musharraf says this violated the sovereignty of Pakistan, but who knows?)

Tell me how I'm gullible, Glen.

"Tell me how I'm gullible, Glen."

1) Do you really not know that Osama bin Laden died in December of 2001?

2) Do you really not know that Osama bin Laden had nothing to do with 9-11 (and said so, repeatedly).

Why do you bother, Ed?

Someone needs to bring poor old Glenn back into reality when he goes off meds.

You guys have proved, to my satisfaction at least, that P. T. Barnum was right.

Glen, your numbers 1 and 2 above are so outrageously outrageous, they defy reason. What evidence do you tinfoil hat wearers have for bin Laden's demise 10 years ago. And who was responsible for 9/11, if not bin Laden? And don't start with the same tired Zionist-state conspiracies because all the Jews left the WTC before the planes hit. You're in need of a straight jacket and sedatives if you believe that.

Bill said...

Ed, I love you, but you're trying to convince a witch doctor that voodoo is not real.

Ed said...

Heh heh.....liberal conspiracists cannot be reasoned with.

Bill said...

I'm still not entirely sure this guy isn't just a troll having fun. But then you read about how many people really are conspiracists - especially in the Arab world.

“The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Usama Bin Laden’s Most Wanted page [fbi.gov/wanted/wanted_terrorists/usama-bin-laden/view] is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11.” ~ Rex Tomb, Chief of Investigative Publicity for the FBI, 06/05/2006

REPORT: BIN LADEN ALREADY DEAD
Wednesday, December 26, 2001

Usama bin Laden has died a peaceful death due to an untreated lung complication, the Pakistan Observer reported, citing a Taliban leader who allegedly attended the funeral of the Al Qaeda leader.

Bin Laden, according to the source, was suffering from a serious lung complication and succumbed to the disease in mid-December, in the vicinity of the Tora Bora mountains. The source claimed that bin Laden was laid to rest honorably in his last abode and his grave was made as per his Wahabi belief.

About 30 close associates of bin Laden in Al Qaeda, including his most trusted and personal bodyguards, his family members and some "Taliban friends," attended the funeral rites. A volley of bullets was also fired to pay final tribute to the "great leader."

From an Osama bin Laden interview with Ummat, the Karachi-based Pakistani daily newspaper, published on 28th September 2001.

Daily UMMAT: You have been accused of involvement in the attacks in New York and Washington. What do you want to say about this? If you are not involved, who might be?

OSAMA BIN LADEN: In the name of Allah (God), the most beneficent, the most merciful. Praise be to Allah, Who is the creator of the whole universe and Who made the Earth as an abode for peace, for the whole humankind. Allah is the Sustainer, who sent Prophet Muhammad (saw) for our guidance. I am thankful to The Ummat Group of Publications, which gave me the opportunity to convey my viewpoint to the people, particularly the valiant and momin (true Muslim) people of Pakistan who refused to believe the lies of the demon (Pakistani military dictator General Pervez Musharraf).

I HAVE ALREADY SAID THAT I AM NOT INVOLVED IN THE 11 SEPTEMBER ATTACKS IN THE UNITED STATES. As a Muslim, I try my best to avoid telling a lie. I had no knowledge of these attacks, nor do I consider the killing of innocent women, children and other humans as an appreciable act. Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children and other people. Such a practice is forbidden even in the course of a battle.

“He [bin Laden] died of marfan syndrome [shortly after 9/11 in his Tora Bora cave complex], Bush junior knew about it, the intelligence community knew about it….,”

~ Dr. Steve R. Pieczenik, served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State under three different administrations, Nixon, Ford and Carter, while also working under Reagan and Bush senior, and still works as a consultant for the Department of Defense. A former US Navy Captain, Pieczenik achieved two prestigious Harry C. Solomon Awards at the Harvard Medical School as he simultaneously completed a PhD at MIT.

Recruited by Lawrence Eagleburger as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Management, Pieczenik went on to develop, “the basic tenets for psychological warfare, counter terrorism, strategy and tactics for transcultural negotiations for the US State Department, military and intelligence communities and other agencies of the US Government,” while also developing foundational strategies for hostage rescue that were later employed around the world.

Pieczenik also served as a senior policy planner under Secretaries Henry Kissinger, Cyrus Vance, George Schultz and James Baker and worked on George W. Bush’s election campaign against Al Gore.

Glen, you're quoting the Pakistan Observer? Hahahahahaha....that's rich!

Do you seriously think any two people in government can keep a secret as big as Bin Laden being dead already, for more than a few minutes? You give government toadies far more credit than they deserve.
