“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Hypocrisy alert!!!

Over at ConservativeGrapevine, John has a link to IowaHawk, where they have this picture of a well-known, outspoken opponent of gay marriage photographed topless. Carrie Prejean is a well-known opponent of gay marriage and she was photographed topless, yet why the outrage over her benign statement opposing gay marriage? I smell a double standard in favor of The One. I wonder where all the media and gay-activist outrage that was directed toward Carrie Prejean is when Obama says essentially the same thing?

This proves that when it comes to the media and minority groups who pretend to be victims of something, it's all about political alliances, and not about their particular ideological agenda. Remember, womens' groups were dead silent as Bill Clinton abused woman after woman, because he advanced their agenda. Just as NOW was exposed as a political group who used "womens' rights" as a diversion to prevent criticism, gay activists keeping mum about Obama's opposition to gay marriage exposes them as political lapdogs who deny their own cause to be obedient followers of the Messiah.

NOTE: Blacks historically have polled as the democrat group most opposed to gay marriage while the gay/celebrity/media triumverate is the democrat group most in favor of gay marriage. I wonder how Obama will please them all?

I'll put my money on him changing to please the gay/celeb/media. They have more money - campaign cash.

Unfortunately, his "out" will be to say that it's up to the individual states and he has no say so. I wonder where that sentiment was when it came to education vouchers, stimulus money, bank failures, etc. He's for states' rights if it's an issue he doesn't want to tackle but, if he wants to control it, he's all about the federal government seizing control away from the states. Also, by the time the inevitable court case reaches the Supereme Court, he will have stocked it with obedient liberals who'll uphold all manner of perversion.

You know, I don't have too much issue with it being a state problem- but because gays have no laws governing divorce, it makes divorce among straights a violation of the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment. In other words, they don't need to worry about gay marriage until they tie up gay divorce.

I don't mean to whine about gay marriage. In fact, I find it hard to get torqued about it one way or the other. I figure, nobody has made more of a mockery of marriage than we breeders have, how much more damage to the institution can gays do? My beef is with Obama's hypocrisy where state sovereignty is concerned.
