“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Dumb environmentalists

I'm a little tired of talking about the election. It's depressing to think of the coming socialist surge we will face with radical leftists Obama, Pelosi, and Reid running the country. And I haven't evicerated any environmentalists in a while, and you know how I enjoy that, so here's my enviro-post of the day.....

There are reasons we live in the 21st Century: cheap, delicious fast-food, cable TV, and disposable diapers. Why some smelly-hippie mommies would choose to use cloth diapers instead of disposable ones, is sort of like Madonna's popularity, a great mystery of our time.....expecially considering this news from the enviro-whacky UK, where common sense and reason go to die......

A government report that found old-fashioned reusable nappies damage the environment more than disposables has been hushed up because ministers are embarrassed by its findings.

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) has instructed civil servants not to publicise the conclusions of the £50,000 nappy research project and to adopt a “defensive” stance towards its conclusions.

The report found that using washable nappies, hailed by councils throughout Britain as a key way of saving the planet, have a higher carbon footprint than their disposable equivalents unless parents adopt an extreme approach to laundering them.

That's right you cloth diaper morons! By smugly pretending that you are saving the world by wallowing in your child's filth like 17th century peasants, for the good of the environment, you have unwittingly harmed the environment instead. Look, if you want to use cloth diapers because you think it's quaint to force pilgrim-living on your family, I think you're an idiot. But that's OK because in America, you're free to be an idiot, and I'm free to call you one. What you should not do is adopt a phoney, smug air of moral superiority because you are saving the planet, nor try to guilt anybody else into joining you in your private hell of eco-derangement. Just put on your tie-dyed smock and your Birkenstocks, grab your granola trail-mix and Starbucks card, and mind your own disgusting business.

Every day it seems, another lie by the eco-Left gets exposed as being the nonsense the rest of us have always known it was. And you can count on TRR being there to mock the libs for it.

Ed, eco-religionists are obsessed with their own poop. I really don't understand why. I covered this same topic here.

Okay, I still don't get it. Where the hell are you getting info.from? Disposable is better, just not convenient. Are you just making this stuff up from your personal opinions, or what?I often look into environmental impact statements, and collected personal data in order to have a more knowledgeable basis to work from. Anybody can just speak out and just real off opinions. Get your facts straight man.
