“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Disarming dolls--mission of the TSA

Few stories expose the abject stupidity of political correctness like this one...

A doll caused a security alert at an American airport because its two-inch plastic gun was considered a dangerous weapon.
Judy Powell, 55, from Walton on the Hill, Surrey, bought the GI Joe toy in Las Vegas and packed it in her hand luggage.

But security staff at Los Angeles International Airport refused to let Mrs Powell on board the plane with the replica rifle.

Mrs Powell had to put the gift - minus the rifle - in her suitcase so it could go in the aircraft's hold.

Mrs Powell said: "I was simply stunned when I realised they were serious.

"Security examined the toy as if it was going to shoot them and looked at the rifle.

"I was really angry to start with because of the absurdity of the situation.

"But then I saw the funny side of it and thought this was simple lunacy."

A spokesman for Los Angeles International Airport said: "We have instructions to confiscate anything that looks like a weapon or a replica.

"If GI Joe was carrying a replica then it had to be taken from him."

Him? Shouldn't he have said, "it"? From what grade did these TSA retards flunk? We've already made it easier to sabatage a plane by stupidly insisting on not profiling Arab men aged 18-25, which just happens to be the exact description of every single 9/11 highjacker. Now we've shown that the child-like TSA agents can be easily distracted with toys and shiny objects. Like Van Helsing observed over at Moonbattery, "Imposing moonbattery appears to be more the point than security."

If they suspected that the replica was a real weapon, why didnt they arrest her? Question if she had a permit for it? You know, the usual things you would do to someone for having an actual gun. Why was she still allowed to get on the plane if they suspected she had an actual weapon? It has become a witch hunt now.

the replica gun was 2 inches big. It didn't merit a second glance.
