“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

It's Ann Coulter Thursday!

This week Ann questions Mike Huckabee's evangelical credentials, specifically why voters seem to be drawn to him. He's cloaks himself in evangelism but his position statements are anything but conservative. Go here and read the article if you are considering supporting Mike Huckabee.

Do you believe in evolution, Ed?

I believe in the process of evolution, capt.

If you're baiting me into a debate about the origins of man, then let me say that I don't have all the answers, nobody does, but I do not believe the process of evolution is incompatible with the divine creation of man on Earth.

Can I explain the significance in human history of Neanderthal man? Cromagnon man? No, I cannot. Can I explain where primitive humans in other parts of the world who're obviously thousands of years older than biblical history accounts fit in? No I can't.

Is it critical to my Christian beliefs to understand everything? Absolutely not. That is the definition of faith. Believing without evidence.

I think that it's entirely possible that God had all these scientific processes happening on the planet and in the middle of it all, plopped some humans down to see how they'd do with the free will he gave to them.

Clearly, we failed miserably. Thousands of years of human evolution and we choose Bill Clinton as President...how dissapointing for God.
