“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

Memorial Day BBQ

Holy crap!!! This happened literally one hour south of my house. Did I mention...Holy crap!!!

Meet Monster Pig. An 11-year-old Alabama boy used a .50cal pistol to kill a wild hog his father says weighed a staggering 1,051 pounds and measured 9-feet-4 from the tip of its snout to the base of its tail.

That thing is as big as a rhinoceros. How did something grow to be that big and no hunters killed it yet? What was it eating? Wild hogs are notoriously agressive and will attack and eat a human at the drop of a hat. I'll bet when they look inside this thing's stomach, there are remains of hunters. I would have to smile at that.

You can read the whole article over at breitbart.com.

No self respecting suey pig calling man ever leaves the hill country without his pet dog.

My wife, ever the skeptic, maintains that in the absence of further evidence, this might be a photo-shopped image. It looks real to me, but then I still believe in the Chupachabra.

I don't have a problem with hunting, but I'm not a hunter myself. It's just not much of a sport to me. I think for hunters to call it a sport or to claim that they do it for the meat is idiotic. They should have the guts to say, "I like killing".

It's really that simple. They like killing. That being said, why don't they make it a real sport and hunt with knives. It's not sporting or brave to shoot a dumb animal from far away safety. Jump down on it's back with a knife from a tree and kill it---then brag about being a sport hunter.

"We do it for the meat" Please.

Anybody man enough to step anywhere near this goliath of a creature with a knife in hand is stupid. The facts are that this pig was killed near Pickensville (in Pickens County Alabama) it was trucked to Cleburne county Al to be weighed. The article stated all happened in Montgomery. Dead pigs apparently do fly, so there goes that idiom out the window. By the way, little Tommy (pictured with his pet hampster) will be selling bar-b-q for the next several months just to unload the non-carcass of the boar. Dark or white meat?
