“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of ‘liberalism’ they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.”

I am speechless to hear that illegal aliens from Mexico who get away with breaking our immigration laws also have no respect for any of our other laws...

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Illegal immigrants who were caught but released in the United States may have been re-arrested as many as six times, Justice Department data released Monday indicates.

The findings by Justice Department Inspector General Glenn A. Fine are based on a sampling of 100 illegal immigrants arrested by local and state authorities in 2004, the latest complete data available. They show that 73 of the 100 immigrants were arrested, collectively, 429 times - ranging from traffic tickets to weapons and drug charges.

Fine's office said its audit could not conclude precisely how many of the 262,105 illegal immigrants charged with criminal histories that year had been re-arrested. "But if this data is indicative of the full population of 262,105 criminal histories, the rate at which released criminal aliens are re-arrested is extremely high," the audit noted.

And Bush tells us that they just want to come here in pursuit of a better life. Bush is wrong! What's happening isn't simply innocent, poor people looking for a better life in America. It's an illegal migration of Mexico's uneducated, criminal class into this country in order to rape our system of all they can get out of it. And our politicians refuse to do anything about it because the illegals are viewed as a potential future voting block.

That's why politicians are despicable, contemptable, wretches!

Ed: I think that you are missing the point. Since we are the richest country in the world and actually have some freedoms (especially if we remained unmarried), we should graciously open our borders to all comers and gladly hand over the keys to the store, to allow them part of our prosperity. We should forget how hard we, as well as our forefathers have worked to acheive and maintain this style of living in order to lavishly dole out untolled amounts of money to these poor immigrants, that have no where else to go.
The real question that needs to be answered is this:
If this country is so great why are all these immigrants coming here stealing our ay of life and sending back home. Just stay there and don't bother us.
As a young man I traveled through Europe. Upon my departure, the continent was basically left as I found it. I did not rob from the rich to send home to the poor. I was respectful of their cultures and lifestyles, and did not even try to get the locals to give me any money or to have them accept English as the standard language. I did not spray paint graffitti all over buildings, I did not round up other Americans and form a gang to terrorize the locals. I just visited, enjoyed my time, and left. Gee that sounds like a great immigration policy. Love our ways as they are, no changes, or get the hell out of this country ( and take a liberal wacko with you when you go to solve all of your governments problems).

Multiculturalism will be the death of "American" culture. Reagan's shining city on a hill will be reduced to a pitiful collection of disparate tribes without common languages, money, or loyalties, all clamoring for a greater and greater share of the spoils seized by Democrats from what's left of productive Americans.

I hope I don't live long enough to see that day.

Sadly Ed we will both, unfortunately, live thru a time frame that will start the decline of this "Rome" we know as the USA. Think back and compare. Rome was desroyed from within by rampant homsexuality, sexual perversion everywhere, a death of decency, and infighting among the leaders about how to stay in control. Backstabbing became the way to climb the ladder. Look at this country now, and things are heading down a very slippery slope.

Like I discussed with my wife this morning, it's our own fault. We (the people) have the power to effect change if we want it. At the ballot box. It's our own fault for electing self-interested politicians who are interested only in maintaining their grip on political power, regardless of the consequences of inaction on important issues like immigration, specifically border control.

All we have to do is elect representatives who promise to close the border and strictly allow only legal immigration. Sadly, there may not be enough of those men and women around who're willing to take that action once elected. They all become intoxicated with power and essentially vote themselves more power by voting FOR the status quo. They don't want dramatic change that might cost them votes.

Why kill the goose that's laying the golden eggs?
